New Airport Landing Fees = Higher Prices

The federal government is making another mistake. In an attempt to reduce delays in the New York City area there have been some suggestions on how to better accommodate all the people going to the Big Apple.

The airlines and FAA have been discussing changing when aircraft and arrive and depart so that the busy time of day isn't so busy. Continental is shifting some of its traffic to Cleveland from Newark. There is even talk of further flight reductions.

One thing the federal government should do is keep airfare as low as possible. This cannot be accomplished with flight reductions or a proposed hike in landing fees during peak flight times. These solutions are ridiculous!!!
