- The Thursday night lineup on NBC will make me fat.
- Getting ready to move has been theraputic. I have been going through things I haven't seen in years. I love seeing pictures of me from 1992.
- I have been working on a private video from the trip. It has been really difficult to watch some of the video.
- Does anyone else remember smells and sounds almost as vividly as sights when traveling?
- The snowfall makes me more excited to get to Tulsa.
- I am excited that 2 people have been helping me try to find housing in Oklahoma.
- I want to do a big trip at the end of this year. Any ideas?
- I might be the King of Organization.
- Two of my favorite people are going to be in Iowa for Christmas, I can't wait to see them. It has been 2 years.
- Goats are facinating.
- I miss my dog, Tuffy.
- Niue is great. It would be so warm today.
- One of my NZ friends and I did a video chat. He was wearing his togs and jandels. I was wearing my complete winter clothes.

UNITED makes me smile
When you think of the US legacy carriers you don't really view them as being customer friendly. That has changed today with United's elite members. They are rolling out complimentary upgrades for all elite members. This is something that Northwest did in the past. I couldn't be more elated when I received the news via email this afternoon...
United Announcement
We know how you value the ease of travel being an elite member brings to you. Now we're making it even easier. In the second quarter of 2010, we’ll automatically request an Unlimited Domestic Upgrade on behalf of all elite members and up to one companion when they travel within the Continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Central America, and the Caribbean.
When Unlimited Domestic Upgrades are launched, we’ll be transitioning all of our elite members to the new upgrades, replacing 500-Mile Upgrade certificates. Elite members can still use their existing Regional Upgrades during their full 12-month validity period. However, new certificates will no longer be issued. If you’re not an elite member, don’t worry – you’ll still be able to use your existing certificates any time during their full 12-month validity period, just like you do today.
Further details on Unlimited Domestic Upgrades and other exciting enhancements will be available on Mileageplus.com in early 2010. Stay tuned.

Random Thoughts...Update
I have lots of things running through my head...Let's explore it:
- Southwest might try and buy Frontier Airlines. It is exciting and interesting, especially if Southwest decides to keep Lynx Airlines, Frontier's regional flying. Des Moines would definately be on the Southwest radar.
- Transitions to the United States after being gone for months is very up and down.
- I am considering something big for my 30th Birthday in September, possibly.
- The job search is ongoing, and diverse to say the least.
- I have been anti-social, I wonder if it is because I am coming off of a travel high?
- The video for Croatia is complete, France is still coming along.
- I am posting ALL of my photos from the trip on Flickr, it is taking days, but there are hundreds, if not thousands.
- I miss New Zealand, they know how to live life.

Random Travel Thoughts
Intrepid Journeys, a television show of famous Kiwi's traveling in undeveloped nations has been a huge hit in my book. I found a couple of segments on YouTube, but if you want more, visit the TVNZ website.
----------------------------------
The first Emirates Airbus 380 arrived in Auckland yesterday. The monster will be flying 3 times per week from Sydney and on to Dubai, I can't wait to see these planes!
---------------------------------
I found a great new video about Niue Island from PBS in the United States. I am so excited about going to this small place!
